The certificate checking engine
It reads the certificate as you fill it in, and tells you when it disagrees with itself.
A tightness test marked pass with a loss above the permissible figure. A CO/CO₂ ratio over the action level. A GC number that cannot belong to the appliance type beside it. OnPoint spots the contradiction and says so, in plain words, with the standard it came from.

Yes. All 18 UK gas certificate templates come with the base plan, including the Landlord/Homeowner Gas Safety Record (the CP12), Gas Safety Record, gas inspection, service and breakdown, non-domestic and commercial catering, testing and purging, mobile catering, chimney systems in voids, CO investigation, Legionella risk assessments and the two warning notices. No tier upgrades, no add-ons.
It reads the answers as you record them and raises a check when the certificate contradicts itself or a reading falls outside what the standard expects. It says what is wrong, why it matters, what to do about it and which standard the rule came from. It never changes a reading, it never decides whether an appliance is safe, and it never stops you saving or issuing. You are the Gas Safe registered engineer and the judgement stays yours.
Only where there is exactly one correct answer, such as a total that is the sum of its parts, or the next inspection date twelve months on. It writes into blank fields only, never over anything you have typed, and a field you have cleared stays cleared. Anything that depends on judgement is offered rather than applied.

Yes. Photograph the data plate and OnPoint reads the make, model, serial, GC number and year, using the phone's own text recognition and any barcode on the label to confirm the digits. Photograph the analyser display and the CO/CO₂ ratio, oxygen and CO ppm land in the low or high rate columns. Every field comes back with a confidence score, so a doubtful read is flagged rather than quietly written onto the certificate.
Descriptions only: appliance location, type, manufacturer, model, serial number, GC number, flue type and ownership, plus alarm locations and expiry dates and the meter details. No combustion reading, no operating pressure, no pass or fail, no safe-to-use and no defect ever carries. It is offered once, on an empty certificate, and only applied when you tap it.
OnPoint emails the customer before any annual certificate expires. You choose the lead time, with 30 days as the default. The emails come from your business with your branding, and the office gets a summary of every certificate that is due so nothing slips.
Each registered engineer has a Gas Safe ID on their profile and it is stamped on every certificate they sign. Multi-engineer businesses get a per-role permission control over which certificates each engineer is allowed to issue.
No card to start the 14-day trial, and if you do not continue the account just expires. Plans are monthly and you cancel from inside the dashboard. You keep access to the end of the period, and your customer data and certificates are exportable on the way out.
